Kutna Hora, lying about 65 km east of Prague, owes its origin to the silver mines, the existence of which can be traced back to the first part of the 13 th century. It was next to Prague the most important town in Bohemia, having become favourite temporal residence of several of the Czech kings and also a mint for the "Prague Penny" ("Groš"). Kutná Hora was declared a world heritage and since 1995 has been protected by UNESCO. Our guide will show you the most important buildings and places - St. Barbara's Cathedral, Ossuary (Bone House), Italian Court. Guide service and entrance fees included.
