Starting May 13, the Prague Lucerna will become a part of Chinese territory. The renowned warriors from the grave of Qin Shi Huangdi, the first Emperor of China will be exhibited in the Czech Republic for the first time ever. They are masterfully crafted Chinese copies of the discoveries made in the tomb of the first Emperor of China, including his warriors. Qin Shi Huangdi was born in 259 AD as Ying Zheng . In 2002, Ralph Grüneberger and Burkard Pfrenzinger made the dream they shared happen – that is to transfer the impression and emotions from one of the largest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century to Europe. In ancient furnaces, following original “formulas”, both instigators had 180 figures of terracotta soldiers made in their original size, including the infantry, generals, lower-rank officers, archers and horses. Other 1000 soldiers were made in formation to 1:10 scale.
